Damage in the Village Hall
Last Saturday night the Village Hall was vandalised during a party. The Committee need support
The small village of Horseheath sits within its own Parish amongst the rolling countryside south-east of Cambridgeshire close to both Suffolk and Essex. With a population of around 460 people, the Parish includes the hamlet of Cardinal’s Green which is divided from the main village by the A1307 Cambridge to Haverhill Road. We have a long history with beautiful buildings and local walks including the Roman Road to Cambridge. Our active community includes the Horseheath Village Community Association which manages our charming Village Hall. Horseheath Cricket Club play regularly on the cricket ground while our Grade 1 listed All Saints Church will delight you. There is always a warm welcome at the Old Red Lion Inn. Enjoy this site - but better come and visit our delightful village!

On Thursday 12th March we helped plant more than 1500 new trees at Horseheath as the first section of a new wood adjacent to the old farmyard.
The Litter Pick collected 17 bags today. So grateful to live in a community that wants to keep the village clean!
On 7th May 2026 the Parish Council will be holding elections. Fancy being a Parish Councillor?
Horseheath Cricket Club Home fixtures commence on Saturday 11th April. See the full list of fixtures below.
After the successful open meeting on 20th February the Village Hall Committee welcome you to a social evening incorporating an open committee meeting. Meet neighbours and friends and hear about their progress. Let's help them keep the Village Hall at the centre of our community.
