Annual Parish Meeting Friday 8th May – 7.30pm

The Local Government Act 1972 dictates that a Parish must assemble annually onm some day between March 1st and June 1st, after 6pm. It states that local residents may speak on any matter of local interest. It is an opportunity for all village organisations to make presentations and report on activities during the year and for parishioners to discuss matters as they wish.

The Annual Parish Meeting is not a meting of the Parish Council however the Parish Council is charged with organising the meeting and the Chairman of the Parish Council should preside over the meeting.

This is the main open forum for discussion on everything in the Village. Come and hear about the activities throughout the year and give your views. The meeting will be in the village hall and the bar will be open!
