The Horseheath Burial Ground is a small rural retreat dedicated to residents of the Parish or those closely associated with the village. The Burial Ground can be accessed through the churchyard or directly from the West Wickham Road. There are apple trees, bluebells and floral borders, with benches set near the floral area. There are mature trees separating the churchyard from the burial ground and multiple bird boxes around the area. It is an ideal spot to sit and reflect. It is so peaceful the local rabbit population also enjoy the borders during some of the year – but do not interfere with the burial area.
The burial ground is managed by the Parish Council and the Terms and Conditions for burials are in the document attached to this page. All enquiries about new burials should be addressed to the Parish Clerk via clerk@horseheath-pc.gov.uk. All are welcome to visit this tranquil and soulful place.
